Great Bronzer!

Bronze Booster by Physicians Formula is a great bronzer. This bronzer is easy to work with blends easily. Add a little to warm up the face or more for all over bronzed look. It isn't too orange or too muddy but very natural looking. I have the color light to medium but there is also a medium to dark version as well.

Use a tapered blush brush for a contour or a bigger bronzer brush for an all over bronze look.

Mac Mineralized Skinfinish ‘Soft n’ Gently’ Highlighter-Review

This is my favorite highlighter hands down! I use either a fan brush or blush brush to apply this lovely highlighter(apply with a gentle hand). Apply to cheekbones, bridge of the nose and other high points of the face.This highlighter gives a wonderful glow to the skin. Even though it's a little expensive it's well worth the extra cash. You get so much for the money this highlighter will last years!

Makeup Trends I Love: Korean Makeup!

Natural makeup, Youthful makeup, The No Makeup look, BB Cream, The ombre lip the Korean women have it down packed. Skin health is very important to Korean Women; they achieve this by cleansing properly and protecting the skin with moisturizer & SPF.  Facials and or face masks are very popular as well.

 The trend is Natural skin base (BB cream is the base of choice), Youthful thicker straighter blended brows (the beginning of brow is faded/blended well and gradually getting darker toward the end), thin line of eyeliner (black shadow on an angled brush is often used/ faded/blended eyeliner is popular as well), light blush, light coat of mascara, and ombre lips (darker in the center of the lip and faded out) pink in the center is most popular.

The trends come most popularly from Korean actresses and Korean pop stars. Watching some Koreans TV dramas or watching Korean Pop Music videos can give you some insight into what is popular at the moment (be warned these versions can to be dramatized & or exaggerated). By the way I love watching Korean Dramas (Watch on netflix.com or dramafever.com ) and listening to K-Pop music (youtube.com) !

America is just receiving some of these trends and most of you might not even know that they are originated or inspired by Korean Makeup trends. Like BB cream it was invented in Germany but became popular within Asian Cultures. Asian BB cream is different from European and (Now) American BB creams. Korea makes the most popular Asian BB creams that are on the market. Some may say Korean BB creams are the best BB creams on the market as well. The only problem is color selection is limited. Recently, I noticed the ombre lip is also becoming popular. This makes me super excited since it’s one of my favorite lip trends. Less arched brows are becoming fashionable as well.

I think these trends are fun and different.

 BB creams are great for the Spring/Summer time! 

Helpful Hints: If you aren’t comfortable with bb creams mixing your foundation with a bb cream adding as much or as little foundation as you need. Mixing will help you get more coverage but also create a more natural look. Mixing medium/full coverage foundations with your moisturizer or light coverage foundation can do the trick as well.

Ombre lip works best with lip tints or lip stains, remember to blend outward with your finger. The outline of your lips should be faded or lightest part of the lip and darker toward the center.

 Get the look: Start with a Clean face, Moisturize, Add your Favorite Skin Base: I used BB Cream, Concealed under eyes, Filled in my brows, Use a Skin color or light pink eyeshadow to eyelid,  For Eyeliner I used a black eyeshadow on an angled brush, added white eyeshadow to inner corner of eyelid and just under the eye toward the inner corner, Added Mascara, Soft pink blush, highlight cheekbones, Added lip stain just in the center of my lip blend outward (ombre lip), and Lightly powder face to set!

Favorite FACIAL SCRUB!

‘St, Ives-Green Tea Scrub’ is something I discovered this past fall and now I don’t know how to live without this scrub. It exfoliates without being too abrasive but gets the job done.  I’ve bought high-end spa exfoliates which I loved but ‘St, Ives-Green Tea Scrub’ works exactly the same way and at the price of $4.99, you can beat it!

MAC lipstick ‘Sunny Seoul’-Review

HONEST Review- I’ve never been drawn in my Mac Lipsticks…

This was my first MAC lipstick so I chose to get an everyday wearable color.  It is a pretty light pink, wearable for daytime or nighttime. It is moisturizing and well pigmented. I wear the lipstick by itself, but I will re-apply a few times throughout the day which I don’t mind. I suggest adding a lip liner underneath this lipstick if re-applying bothers you.

 I really like this lipstick but I never bought into the HYPE over Mac lipsticks. Hence, this is why ‘Sunny Seoul’ is my first Mac lipstick. I found it hard to even choose a lipstick to purchase because nothing really jumped out at me. A problem that I have never had with drugstore lipsticks or other high end lipsticks. I hate to judge all Mac lipsticks since this is my first and one that I hadn’t heard of prior to my purchase. I really think there are comparable or dare I say better and cheaper drugstore lipsticks.

There are better Mac products that are WORTH the HYPE and PRICE: Mac Products such as Mineralize Skinfinishs, Studio Finish Concealer, and Eye Shadows. 

Anyone else not impressed by Mac lipsticks?

Easter Outfit!

Hey guys!! Happy Easter!! This is my Easter outfit!! The dress is from Forever 21 only $10!! Super cute it came with a little brown belt!! They had solid colors as well! The sweater is from H&M for $10!! My boots are from DSW you can check out the blog I did on them a few post back! This is a very cute look! It was nice out today so thank goodness I wasn't freezing! lol! Had a great Easter!

My Lip Saver! (oh yeah)

Last year I had the worst chapped lips ever! (ha)
No, it is true my friends. I used from Blistex to Carmex, whatever else I could find that had the chap stick or lip balm stamped on it.

I say: ALL SUCKED! Until I decided to purchase this lip balm called Smith's Rosebud Salve from Sephora. 
So moral of the story: It saved my super chapped lips from its bloody terror and pain.  (is that even a moral?) who cares! try it!

  It is 6 bucks but I have been using it since last year and still have half of the product in my tubey left. Why is that? Well, because it works fast and you don't have to constantly reapply to get rid of those horribly chapped lips, like so many other chap sticks or lip balms. Plus it smells like roses.

Victoria Secret PINK! & Bath & Body Works HAUL!

Went to Victoria Secret and bought some PINK 2 for $30 mix and match, got a pair of Dark Grey leggings and a Mint Boyfriend cut T-Shirt. I Have a Grey Boyfriend Cut T-Shirt and I love it so a Mint one is cute for spring! The leggings are nice quality but I always buy new leggings every couple of months since I get lots of wear out of them. Also got a very Thin Long Sleeve PINK Sweater great for spring or cooler summer nights! I know I am going to love this Sweater it feels amazing! It was a bit pricey at $44.50 but I know I will get a lot of wear out of it. Stopped by Bath & Body Works and got a Candle in ‘Pineapple and Mango’ and a Lotion in ‘Warm Vanilla Sugar’. The new scents of candles are definitely worth checking out. They have lots of fresh clean scents and fruity scents.

Extra Thoughts…

Victoria Secret always has ongoing sales and offers take advantage. I was impressed with all the good things they have right now also they have great smelling body sprays and perfumes. I have way too many body sprays so I am working on using mine up. One of my favorites is PINK body spray it is in a pink and polka dot bottle. On other note while I was at the mall I stopped by Forever 21 but I was disappointed that they had very few items I actually liked. I’ve been on an H&M and Victoria Secret kick, love these stores and I believe the quality is way better than Forever 21. Hopefully, next visit to the mall I will finally find something at Forever 21 since the prices aren’t bad.

BATH & BODY Works- Candle ‘Peach Bellini’

Has such a light fresh scent with notes of peach, citrus, and jasmine. One of my favorite of the spring scents at Bath & Body Works. Loving the spring scents at Bath & Body Works go and smell! Can’t wait to get some more Candles! Makes me excited for spring and summertime! 

p.s. Right now I am still burning my winter candles almost finished!

THE BEST TONER!

‘Dickinson’s Witch Hazel- Toner’ this is an amazing product it’s 100% All Natural and works WONDERS on skin. I’ve used everything from drugstore toners to high-end toners that would strip my skin and end up drying it out! I have sensitive acne prone skin and this product tones and moisturizes at the same time. For me it prevents breakouts and if I happen to break out will help to restore my skin to its best condition. On the bottle it says “Refines Pores, Removes & Controls Oil, Soothes Irritation, and Locks in Moisture” and it does exactly what that bottle says! 

Use this after every time you cleanse your skin. Use a cotton ball to apply to face and neck.
